Zaid’s story
February 2025
Zaid, a nine-year-old boy with stuttering difficulties, struggled with communication, which made him feel frustrated, isolated, and distanced from his friends and family. His fear of school rose from the pressure to speak in front of others.
However, after attending awareness sessions under the “Back to the Future” project with his mother and interacting with supportive teachers at the center, Zaid found the encouragement he neededto enroll in the Non-Formal Education programs. With the dedicated guidance and support from his teachers and a social worker, he gradually gained confidence, actively participated in class, and successfully completd assignments
Today, Zaid is overcoming his fear of education and beginning to see learning as an opportunity for growth, self-expression and connection with others.
