Marjayoun Distribution
August 2024
As cross-border hostilities intensify in southern Lebanon, the “Back to the Future” project is sparing no effort to support children in the affected regions.
In Marjayoun, education, and child protection activities are facilitated in a remote modality, and beneficiaries are provided with the needed supporting materials. In August, educational and recreational kits were distributed to 50 children currently enrolled in the remote Basic Literacy and Numeracy program.
The BTF Consortium remains committed to leaving no child behind and strives to ensure safe and inclusive engagement in learning for the most vulnerable children in war-torn locations.
The “Back to the Future” funded by European Humanitarian Union Aid, and implemented by AVSI Middle East and Terre des Hommes Italy in Lebanon in partnership with Association Nabad for Development, Sawa for Development and Aid, Fraternity Association, Movement Social, and Uspeak, and in collaboration with Bqosta Association, Al Moasat Association, and Phoenix Forum.
