Caregivers PSS Sessions

August 2024

Caregivers are key figures responsible for the well-being and development of their children. They play a critical role in ensuring children’s safety, and mental and emotional health, and providing moral and ethical guidance.

Caregivers’ engagement and good parenting skills are crucial ingredients for children’s growth in a protected environment. Under the “Back to the Future” project, 1,160 caregivers have been engaged in the Psychosocial Support (PSS) program, through weekly sessions tailored to enhance their positive parenting capacities. More caregivers will take part in the program in the coming months.

The “Back to the Future”  funded by European Humanitarian Union Aid, and implemented by AVSI Middle East and Terre des Hommes Italy in Lebanon in partnership with Association Nabad for Development, Sawa for Development and Aid, Fraternity Association, Movement Social, and Uspeak, and in collaboration with Bqosta Association, Al Moasat Association, and Phoenix Forum.
