European Union Trust Fund Manager Claudia Miller visit to humanitarian and social projects.

April 6, 2022 – As part of the visit to humanitarian and social projects in the region, European Union Trust Fund Manager Claudia Miller accompanied by the @euinlebanon, visited the “Back to the Future” educational center in Ghazze (West Bekaa, Lebanon) where activities were being implemented by AVSI in partnership with @nabad4devp.

The EU members were introduced to different aspects of the project as they toured the center’s classrooms, and interacted with the students and the teachers of BLN (Basic Literacy and Numeracy), ABLN (Adapted Basic and Numeracy) and PSS (Psychosocial Support) classes. They also had the chance to take part in the STEAM and Robotics program organized in collaboration with @kalimat.lebanon.

“Back to the Future” is funded by the European Union, through the EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis, the EU Madad Fund, and implemented in partnership by AVSI Middle East, Terre des hommes Italy in Lebanon, and War Child Holland in Lebanon.
